Smith & Nephew Allevyn Life is a multi-layered dressing with hypocellular foam, hyper-absorber lock away core and masking layer designed for managing a variety of wounds and appropriate for your daily use. This foam dressing is used for the management of various wounds including shallow, granulating wounds, acute and chronic exudative wounds, wounds that are fully or partially thick such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, malignant wounds, first and second degree burns, skin tears, donor sites, fungating ulcers, infected wounds (the infected wounds should be treated in accordance with local clinical protocol).

Instructions For Use
- Cleanse your wound based on normal procedures
- Choose the suitable dressing size for you
- Prepare the surrounding area of your wound by cleaning it and removing excess moisture. Also, clip any excess hair to ensure close approximation to the wound
- Use a clean technique to remove one of Allevyn Life's protective films and anchor the adhesive side of the dressing to your skin. Ensure there are no creases by smoothing the dressing over your wound
- Then, remove the remaining protector film. Only the dressing's pad area must be adhered across the entire surface of your wound
- Allevyn Life is capable of dressing awkward areas of your body due to its corner lobes which can be overlapped while positioning the dressing and no creasing or stretching will occur
